Sketch Challenge

CHALLENGE 1st & 3rd FRIDAYS

Challenge # 65

Hi Everyone:

The new CiC Challenge is up at Clearly iStamp blog and this time around it is a little different. Different how? Well this time there isn't a theme but a sketch. This is an amazing sketch. Thanks to sweet Cassie for putting it together for us.

We would love to see you utilize this sketch. Flip it or keep it just as is. Add an image or no image at all. We just want to see you be creative while still maintaining the integrity of the sketch.  So link up your card for a chance to win some Digital Stamps by Clearly Digi Stamps by Clear Dollar Stamps.

This is my take on this sketch. I really enjoyed using this one because it helped me to get some of my mojo back. Lol.  I was going for a rustic but elegant feel if that makes sense.

The following Card is being submitted to the following challenges:
Simon Says: Snowflakes
Word Art Wednesday: Anything Goes
CiC Challenge 65: Sketch Challenge
Everybody-Art-Challenge Christmas
Papelitos Stamps Anything Goes
  Papertake Weekly Anything Goes
Celebrate The Occasion: Christmas No Red or Green
Clear It Out! Use Old Supplies, Christmas or Red White and Green
Ribbon Carousel Challenge Holiday Spirit
Shopping Our Stash Winter Holiday or Snow
The Stamping Boutique Holiday Cards

This card was made using the Poinsettia Stamp by Clear Dollar Stamps. The image was enlarged and actually flipped to face towards the left. I know that these flowers are not normally brown, but to be honest it started out cream but ended up like this. Lol. I still really like it though. But brown is one of my favorite colours, especially choc. or drk brown. Sentiment was from the new Christmas Card sentiment set by Lori McCluskey.

Card Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill, Recollections, Canston Watercolour Paper
Inks: Walnut & Vintage Ink/Ranger Distress Inks
Digital Stamps: Poinsettia Stamp, Christmas Card Sentiment Set
Journaling Pen:Tombo White Gel Pen, Staedtler Black Journaling Pen
Embellishments: Pearls Halves/Dollarama, DMC Floss/Antique Linen
Adhesives: ATG, Pop Dots

Thanks so much for dropping bye. I trust that you are all preparing for the Christmas season. Keep checking back because I have more projects to share. Both Clearly Digi Stamps and Hero Arts too. My favorite stamps. Until next time, take care.

Love & Prayers
Dana

Hi Dana, your card is wonderful. I love the colours, isn't that the great thing about stamping, you are only limited by your imagination. Think I will check out the sketch - it looks really good.
