Just popping in with another card for the January Release over at Doodle Pantry and for their sponsored challenge over at "Through Craft Room Door". This time around I used this adorable set that has a variety of vintage teddy bears. Aren't they just beautiful!! So many options here with all the different colored bears. I decided to go with the purple background.
Play with this sketch and check out the challenge here.
My card center is so large that it seems more to the side
than in the center, but it is close to this sketch.
I printed off the colored version of the tan bear with purple background twice and fussy cut the second one to place over top of the original image with pop dots to give depth and dimension. I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities to cut out the scalloped circle and then to add shading around the images, using Ranger Inks. This was then added to Kraft card stock which was distressed with ink and then layered over top of plum card base. Organza ribbon and a paper flower were added to give that finishing touch. Curly-Q's were made by shredding same plum paper in strips and then twirling around a stylus to give the curled effect.
