Clear Dollar Stamps October Release

Hi Everyone:
Just wanted to share the new release with you for October from Clear Dollar Stamps. First up, is the set PatchPal Scarecrow previously illustrated by Shawne Arnold for CDS and digitally colorized by Laurie Wilson. This is an adorable set with many bright and cheerful designs.

Here is my card using the very cute pumpkins and kitten.

This is being submitted to the following challenges:
QKR Stampede: Challenge #9 Pumpkins Galore
Raise The Bar: Challenge # 115 Pumpkins
Simple Create Too: Challenge # 24 Pumpkins

Close Up of Shading

Card Supplies
Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: Apple Cider/Fall In Love -Imaginisce
Digital Stamps: PatchPal Scarecrow
Colouring Mediums: Staedtler Triplus Markers, Watercolour Pencils Crayons.
Journaling Pen: Tombo & Sharpie
Embellishments: Flower From Friend, Red Pearl/Hero Arts, Ribbon/Offray
Adhesives: ATG Gun, Pop Dots

Next set of Digital Stamps that I had so much fun playing with was Nutcrackers COLOUR by Laurie Wilson.

I so love this set!! The possibilities are endless! I decided to use one of the Nutcracker images to make an Ornament. Now it would be a great idea to print this one several times, colouring only the top one completely, but the others just around the edges. Then layer all of the images one on top of the other. This gives the ornament more stability and thickness. To cover up the mechanics of this creation, a narrow ribbon should be glued around the edge to give it a finishing touch. (* Tutorial coming up to show this a little later.)

Project is being submitted to the following challenges:

Christmas Stampin: Challenge#32 Anything Goes
Cards By Lady Anne:  Anything Goes Challenge
Craft My Life All Crafts Challenge: Non Card, Altered Item Challenge
Crafty Bloggers Network: Anything Goes
My Grafico Challenge: Anything Goes

For those of you who collect Nutcrackers and display them during the Christmas Season, this one would be awesome to use to make your own large size Nutcracker to place near your fireplace. Just enlarge to desired height, colour, embellish and glue to the front of a saltine cracker box. This box should be wrapped in some elegant Christmas wrapping paper. The box could hold long stick matches for your fireplace, or poppourri, maybe some sweet treats. Just an idea!  You can see that I did add some elegant touches of gold to this guy. I used Stickles to make the gold buttons and added a feather, along with a jewel accent to his hat. This really helped to create a Regal Nutcracker.

Project Supplies:
Cardstock: Canyon Watercolour Paper
Mediums: Beinfang Watercolour Markers, Copic Markers, Staedtler Watercolour Pencils & Crayons,
Embellishments: Feather & Jewel/Dollarama, Stickles for buttons.

Make sure to check out all the creations of the Design Team. Everyone did such an amazing job! You won't be disappointed!

Blog Candy is still up! I will be drawing at the end of the month regardless if I get 200 followers or not! Why not share with your friends about my give away for a second chance to win!

I trust that your all enjoying the Autumn weather and maybe getting a head start on your Christmas cardmaking. Thanks for dropping by again today and make sure to come again. There are more cards to share and hopefully I will get those tutorials up that I have been wanting to share for some time now.

Until next time......

Blessings
Dana
