Having A Whale Of A Time!

Hi Everyone:
Just wanted to share some mini cards that I made for a little boy who is very sick and for his little brother.  When my friend Ceal asked Deedee's Design Team to help out with sending this little boy and his family some cards to cheer him up, I whipped up these two cards and bought some treats to send with them.  I was meaning to share them long before now,  but didn't get around too it.  Sorry !  I know that when kids have to move away from their home,  family, and their friends to go to another hospital far away, it can be scary, and very sad.  So I wanted to add a smile to the face of these boys and thought that I would add some jokes to cheer them up. These cards are made using "Cuties for a Cure" and are such a versatile set that the possibilities are endless.

Okay so what is the answer to this one, - wait for it - lol!  "Having A Whale Of A Time!"
Sorry for the very bad picture here! That is what happens when lighting isn't that great!

Another One

And the answer to this one, wait for it! Lol!  - To help remind us that we need to take time to slooooooow down and enjoy the little things in life!  Isn't that the truth!  Isn't this turtle a real cutie!  Make sure to get your set of "Cuties for a Cure"  and the proceeds from the sale will go to the National Childhood Cancer Foundation.  What a great way to support such a big cause.

Thank you for dropping bye and I hope that I have inspired you in some small way!  I trust that all of us who have kids, are having a great start to a new school year.  Wishing you a great week.

Hugs & Blessings
Dana

Oh my goodness, those are FANTASTIC, Dana! The colors are so cheerful, and you did a fabulous job as always of creating the little scenes around them. How did you get the jokes on the cards? Did you run them through the printer, or stamp them on? These are so fun, and I'm sure these are going to bring a much-needed lift of spirits! Hugs, Deedee

I could'nt agree more with the post above that these are guaranteed to make a child smile! They are both just as darling as can be -- I love the bright cheery colors and the whimsy of them both - so thoughtful of you and what a blessing it will be to see these make their way to a happy home! xoxo
