Did I get your attention? Hopefully! Well the flowers are not really wooden but are indeed stamped with a wooden grain background stamp to give that exact feel. The Hero Arts wood grain stamp is one of the new stamps that my mother-in-law gave me for Christmas and I love it. In our HA Flickr Group we have contest to challenge us to make a card in 90 Minutes. For anyone who is slow like me, than this really is a challenge! This card was the fruit of my labour. Lol! It is a great challenge and you can play along too when you join the group. We have so much fun! And tomorrow is another day with another one of these Scramble Challenges.
I also wanted to share that this is a new month with a new contest. You have to give this a go because you could be the next winner of $ 50.00 worth of Hero Arts products. Their products are the best and the service is really great too.

Okay that is it for me. Just wanted to share this information with you and to say that I haven't forgotten about you all. My Blog Candy is still available and I would love for you to come and visit. No need to share a story if you would rather not, but being a follower or sharing on your blog or sidebar would be greatly appreciated.
I trust that your all keeping warm and safe with all this snow that most of us are having. My Dad had a heart attack last winter due to shoveling snow. He is doing okay, but he is not really himself. He needs another surgery and for you praying folk, I would ask that you keep him in your prayers. Right now we are all waiting to hear if he will need a double bye-pass or to have a stint put in place. Either way he is nervous and anxious. We are praying that the process is easy for him and that there are no complications. So in sharing that, I have to say please be careful when dealing with this snow. If it is heavy to shovel please get someone else to do it for you or if there is to much on your roof, get the professionals to remove it. Our local news reported today that doctors in this area are warning residents to not go on roofs to remove snow because the rate of falls and injuries were high. I know there is the scare of crashing roofs and home damage, but try to think of yourself first and your safety. Okay I will stop being a Mother Hen now! Lol! I have just experienced what my family has gone through with my Dad and it really could have been avoided. I know that our homes are an investment, but these investments are nothing if we are not around to enjoy them! Okay, I am done! I promise! No more words of wisdom! Lol!
Take care and have a great weekend. Remember that tomorrow is another day filled with many wonderful memories waiting to happen.
Big Warm Hugs
Dana

I will keep your dad in my prayers. I, too, hope everyone is being careful in the snow. Luckily it is all cleared up here. Spring should be here soon...can't wait!
Stunning card and very nice blog. Great to come visit. Thank you for visiting me!
Hi Dana! This card came out really fabulous! Who wouldve thought? (wood grained flowers) Really special. :-)
Sorry to hear about your Dad. I know its very worrying for you.I hope they'll work out a solution real soon. The waiting game is the hardest.
Still shoveling snow ey? My Dad has had to keep shoveling even with two broken ribs. (he slipped while cleaning the bathtub). I really wish they'd move south. It gets too much up there with the heavy winters. You're right about people being careful. Shoveling is such hard work. Especially when it comes in feet not inches.
It's spring here in NC, the blossom is coming out and the weather is warming up. Ive got some vege seeds started in the grenhouse. Just itchin for spring!!
You've really got that fab wood grained feel with the stamps. It's a wonderful card
